Adrian Hernandez is a Chicago based Writer and Director specializing in the Horror and Thriller genres. His work focuses on realistic stories that explore fear, survival, and how someone responds to extreme circumstances.
With a background in high pressure leadership environments, he brings a gritty realism and emotional authenticity to his films. His goal is to create immersive unsettling worlds that leaves a lasting effect on the audience.
Director's Statement
As a Director, my sight is set on character driven stories that explore pressure, survival, and human behavior in high stake scenarios. I’m drawn to creating stories that reveal how people behave when their stability disappears.
My military background shaped my understanding of pressure, responsibility, and collaboration. It continues to influence my approach as a Director, and drives me to create an efficient and productive set, while also keeping an uplifting atmosphere for everyone.

My background in military leadership allows me to guide actors in portraying soldiers with realism, such as movement and posture. My focus is for performances to feel grounded and truthful.
